The Adrian Rea Literacy Center is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. We are here to guide you through the process and welcome you to our team of dedicated volunteers. I’m not bilingual. Can I tutor?

Yes, you can participate without knowing how to
speak Spanish or any language other than English.

I’ve never taught. Can I tutor?

Yes. Volunteers are prepared for tutoring sessions at a certification workshop.

How much time is required to tutor?

A time commitment of two hours tutoring, once a week, with preparation prior to tutoring.
