Fun Community Event

Join us April 16, 2026 at 5:30 pm at the Adrian Armory Community Center for the Adrian Rea Literacy Center Adult Spelling Bee. It’s a fun, spirited fundraiser that brings together the community to compete in a lively spelling showdown; all in support of adult literacy.

This event celebrates learning, community spirit, and the joy of words, while raising critical funds to support our adult learners.

How the Spelling Bee Works

Teams of 2-3 people will compete to be the ultimate spelling champions. There will be competitive rounds with engaging word challenges.

We’re planning fun, engaging audience activities in between rounds. Team awards will be presented; and we’ll have food and drinks to enjoy!
